Role Overview

Sodexo Live! is seeking a Manager, Food Safety & Quality Assurance to join the team of food and beverage professionals at the Delta Sky Clubs within Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL)Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges.

What You'll Do

  • work with our food and beverage teams to lead food safety and quality assurance within multiple airport lounge clubs;
  • collaborate with third-party auditors (EcoSure);
  • provide safety management/accident prevention assistance;
  • train and educate employees on food safety topics;
  • actively review specific policies and procedures for occupational health, safety and environmental hazards that come under federal, state and local regulations;
  • complete food and physical safety audits;
  • conduct onsite inspections and implement corrective action/reporting.

What You Bring

  • prior management experience in food service, food manufacturing or quality assurance;
  • higher education within Food Science, Public Health, or a related field;
  • certifications to include: ServSafe, CFPM, HACCP, Allergen Awareness;
  • experience with health inspections and audit processes;
  • knowledge of local, state and federal food safety regulations;
  • the ability to train staff on safety practices;
  • strong attention to detail;
  • proficiency with recordkeeping and reporting.
