Role Overview

SodexoMagic is hiring an Executive Chef 2 for the student nutrition operations at the District Of Columbia Public Schools located in the Washington, DC area. This role will provide professional growth opportunities while leading culinary excellence across 49 school locations. This role will require strong knowledge and expertise in driving culinary excellence while empowering team members to consistently deliver high-quality, compliant meals and innovations.

As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. What You'll Do

  • Enhance student dining experiences
  • Lead product procurement, food forecasting, recipe compliance and assist with maintaining accurate on hand inventory levels
  • Lead excellent and consistent food quality and presentation standards across all school locations
  • Empower, train, and develop frontline team members to further drive culinary standards and innovations
  • Drive workplace safety through food, physical, and sanitation compliances
  • Over deliver on exceptional dining experiences for client caterings

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
